STUDY OF ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY OF INTERMEDIATE
LIQUID METALLIC MEDIUM OF SLIDING ELECTRICAL CONTACTS
Authors: A.A. MITYUREV, Cand. Sc.
Abstract: The description is given of the design of a 6-position stand contained the models of liquid-metal contacts (LMC) by P. Claudi for the study of intermediate liquid-metal media based on gallium and its eutectic alloys for sliding electrical contacts. The stand allows to determine the transition electrical resistance of the contact of liquid metals with basic electrical materials (copper, brass L63, nickel, 12Kh18N10Т steel, etc.) in the temperature range 20…250 °C. A method for calculating the specific contact resistance of a liquid metal–solid electrode contact is proposed. The expediency and efficiency of preliminary mechanical treatment of surfaces of solid contact parts under a layer of liquid metal has been experimentally proven.

Authors: A.A. MITYUREV, Cand. Sc.
Abstract: The description is given of the installation design based on the device for microhardness measuring PMT-3 for studying the frictional and electrical characteristics of sliding contacts with an intermediate liquid-metal (LM) medium for electrical machines and apparatuses. The setup makes it possible to evaluate the frictional stability of the LM coating under the relative shear of solid contact parts, to determine the contact electrical resistance of intermediate LM media in the temperature range 20…250 °C. The comparative analysis of the possibility of using LM coatings formed on solid contact parts by various methods for sliding electrical contacts has been carried out. The advantage of an LM coating based on gallium and its eutectic alloys, obtained by mechanical processing of a solid surface of a contact part under a layer of liquid metal, has been proved.

Abstract: The problem of reformatting the existing model for determining the parameters of a geo-pass into a model of interaction between a geo-pass and a geo-medium, taking into account the designated features, has become acute. The structure of the mathematical model of interaction of a geokhod and its systems with the geo-environment is proposed.

JUSTIFICATION OF THE DESIGN OF A DISPERSANT FOR THE PREPARATION OF WORKING LIQUIDS OF MINING POWERED SUPPORTS
Authors: А.L. YABLONEV, Dr. Sc., P.B. PASHKO, Engineer
Abstract: The efficiency of mining hydromechanized roof supports is largely determined by the quality of working fluids – emulsions. The use of water-soluble imported emulsol for their preparation is currently constrained by the cost of the latter and difficulties in logistical terms, especially given the fact, that a very large number of mining enterprises have old, heavily worn rock supports with increased emulsion consumption. To solve this problem, a flow modulating dispersant was developed, the principle of which is based on cavitation for intensive mixing of water and emulsol. A stand was built with an experimental dispersant and an emulsion was prepared, consisting by volume of 98 % water and 2 % domestic emulsol. An analysis of the obtained working fluid, carried out using an electron microscope, showed, that this emulsion has a 30…50 % higher dispersion, than traditional emulsions, prepared using known hydromechanical dispersants.

Abstract: The article describes a hardware and software complex for automatic control of the drying agent preparation process with specified temperature and humidity parameters. The hardware includes a single-board computer, temperature and humidity sensor, control boards for the refrigerator and flaps, communication boards. The software component of the complex includes modules for polling sensors, controlling the refrigeration machine, calculating the degree of flap opening, and managing data exchange. A mathematical description of the processes of heating, cooling, dehumidification, humidification and mixing of air flows is presented, which served as the basis for the visualization module in the form of an interactive I-d diagram that allows calculating the parameters of the processes of humidification, heating, cooling and mixing of the drying agent. The results of experiments on adiabatic humidification and heating of one section of a small-sized drying unit UPOR-M are presented.

Authors: Y.N. MATVEEV, Dr. Sc., A.V. IVANOV, Postgraduate
Abstract: The article proposes an algorithm for solving the integer programming problem in a way similar to the coordinate descent method. An alternative algorithm avoids the time-consuming search for a point using the simplex method at each iteration. A detailed description of the algorithm and a demonstration of its operation is given on the example of an optimization problem with two parameters. The current limitations of the proposed algorithm are given, as well as arguments about their possible use in future works.

ALIGNMENT MODEL DURING PACKAGING USING VIBRATION FORCE
Authors: A.L. KALABIN, Dr. Sc., M.V. TARACHKOV, Postgraduate
Abstract: The description of the process of creating a mathematical model of vibration-force alignment when packaging chilled semi-finished products in food production is given. The model is based on alignment work on objects that are substantially smaller than the box they are in. At the same time, the model has a number of important changes. For its construction, two auxiliary problems are considered, leading the reader to the question of the conditions for the start of the movement of the aligned objects: the necessary acceleration and the vibrational nature of the movement. The initial data for the calculations are given, which were obtained by analyzing the production line for leveling chilled semi-finished products. Part of the initial data was obtained from the drawings of the robotic arm, which is the basis of the semi-finished product alignment system. Calculations of the required pressing force on semi-finished products, vibration frequency, and movement of semi-finished products have been carried out. As a result of the experiments, it was found that the constructed mathematical model for the alignment of semi-finished products is satisfactorily adequate. The created mathematical model made it possible to improve the characteristics of the robotic arm and calculate the effective parameters of the automation system for leveling chilled semi-finished products.

ON SIMULATION OF TRANSIENT STATES OF THE ORGANISM
Authors: B.A. KOBRINSKY, Dr. Sc.
Abstract: The purpose of constructing a mathematical model is to dynamically analyze the transitional states of the organism that threaten the formation of chronic diseases in the future and to evaluate the effectiveness of preventive protective effects. The quasi-continuum of transitional states of an organism is considered as a random process with discrete states. It is possible to compare the process with phase transitions to spasmodic qualitative changes in health. The evolution of the system consists in the transition from the norm to pathology, with the exception of cases when, under the influence of protectors, a regression of the pathological process is possible. The creation of a model of transitional states of health – a digital twin of a person – meets the goal of control personal health by preventing or delaying the manifestation of diseases based on directed counter-influences on certain modifiable risk factors for the development of pathological processes.

FOR IGNITING FUEL TANKS WITH FRAGMENTATION ELEMENTS
Authors: O.Yu. FEDOSOV, Cand. Sc.
Abstract: The system of criteria for ignition of fuel tanks of vehicles under the influence of high-speed fragmentation elements is justified on the basis of modern concepts of the theory of combustion of fuel-air mixtures in a turbulent flow. Gorenje is the physical mechanism of the process of near- and in-tank ignition of fuel vapor by a high-speed fragmentation element for fuel tanks protected by the vehicle skin is considered. Five criteria for igniting fuel tanks are presented, the fulfillment of which leads to damage to the fuel tank. A formula for the conditional probability of damage to compartments containing a fuel tank to the incendiary effect of fragmentation elements is presented. A structural block diagram of a mathematical model for calculating the conditional probability of damage to fuel tanks is presented.
