Abstract

The results of a study of the main electrical contact characteristics of a composite powder material based on a copper with different contents of tungsten carbide are presented. The electrical resistivity, hardness, and electrical erosive wear of the investigated samples are presented in absolute values and in comparison, with similar characteristics of the reference material – electrical copper – depending on the composition of the composite, the modes of its manufacture and the polarity of the sample (sample – anode and sample – cathode).
