The results of the study of the main electrical contact characteristics of composite powder materials on a copper base with additions of chromium and tungsten carbides are presented. The electrical resistivity, hardness and electrical erosion wear of the studied samples are presented in absolute values and in comparison, with similar characteristics of the reference material – electrical copper – depending on the composition of the composite, the modes of its manufacture and the polarity of the sample (sample – anode and sample – cathode).
composite material, copper, chromium carbide, tungsten carbide, electrical conductivity, electroerosive wear, sintering temperature.
