Authors: V.V. IZMAILOV, Dr. Sc., A.A. MITYUREV, Cand. Sc.
Abstract: The results of a theoretical and experimental study of the contact interaction of solid contact parts of electrical devices through an intermediate liquid metal (LM) medium based on gallium and its eutectic alloys are presented. LM-media intended for fixed and sliding electrical contacts and having the following compositions (% by mass are indicated): GaIn (77.5 % Ga / 22.5 % In); GaInSn (62 % Ga / 25 % In / 13 % Sn). A formula for calculating the contact resistance of liquid metal contacts (LMC) is obtained, taking into account the parameters of the microgeometry of the rough surface of the contact parts and the nominal contact pressure for plastic and elastic contacts. A description is given of the design of an installation for studying the electrical conductivity of rough surfaces through an intermediate LM-medium. Comparison of the theoretical and experimental values of the electrical resistance of the LMC showed their satisfactory agreement.

EXPERIMENTAL SUBSTANTIATION OF THE GRIP ANGLE OF THE PEAT EDGE CUTTER
Authors: А.L. YABLONEV, Dr. Sc., N.M. ZHUKOV, postgraduate
Abstract: The efficiency of milled peat extraction is largely determined by the quality of the surface of the extraction fields – peat production fields. During the operation of technological equipment, due to the development of the central part of the field, near-channel edges are formed along the edges – areas with an elevated relief 25–50 cm wide. They make it difficult to remove rain and melt water, and negatively affect the performance of technological equipment. In TvSTU, work is underway to develop a high-performance edge cutter that could cut both channel edges in one pass, unlike the Finnish prototype PRF-240, which processes only one edge in one pass. One of the main issues when creating a brow cutter is to find the optimal angle of installation of the cutters in the transverse plane, since the machine should not throw peat chips into the peat production field channels. To justify the installation angle of the cutters, a complex laboratory experiment was carried out, which showed that the optimal installation angle of the cutters is 20º.

EVALUATION OF STRENGTH CHARACTERISTICS OF BATTERIES OF MINE ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVES
Authors: K.A. RYABKO, Cand. Sc., E.M. AREFYEV, Cand. Sc.
Abstract: The method for assessing the strength characteristics of batteries of mine electric locomotives presented in the article makes it possible to determine the calculated stresses in the lateral vertical and horizontal surfaces of the battery case made of impact-resistant thermoplastics under the influence of horizontal or vertical shock loads. It has been established that the stresses arising in the side walls of the battery case with a thickness of less than 12.5 mm, under critical horizontal impacts, exceed the allowable values of the bending stress. The thickness of the walls of the storage battery of a mine electric locomotive, made of a block copolymer of propylene with ethylene, must be at least 18 mm, in this case, the safety factor will be 1.5. The aspect ratio of the battery case has a direct effect on the stresses in the walls under critical horizontal shock loads.

INVESTIGATION OF A SEMICONDUCTOR CERAMIC GAS CONCENTRATION CONVERTER
Authors: L.V. ILYASOV, Dr. Sc.
Abstract: The results of experimental studies aimed at revealing the operating principle of semiconductor ceramic gas concentration transducers are presented. The instructions for these converters (PP-1 and DMP-1) state that their principle of operation is based on an increase of the electrical conductivity of semiconductor ceramics at a temperature of 400–500 °C in the presence of reducing gases, in particular methane or propane. An experimental setup with a thermochemical pellistordetector and a research technique based on the use of a pulse method for entering samples of gases such as hydrogen, methane and propane, which made it possible to establish that catalytic combustion of these gases occurs in a semiconductor ceramic converter, and this causes an increase in the temperature of ceramics and its electrical conductivity are described. The dependences of the degree of catalytic combustion of gas on the sensing element of the semiconductor converter power supply voltage are obtained. It is proved that this sensitive element can change its electrical conductivity depending on the thermal conductivity of non-combustible gases such as nitrogen, helium, carbon dioxide. It is established that the sensitivity of the semiconductor converter of the concentration of combustible gases exceeds the sensitivity of the currently widely used pellistor detectors of combustible gases.

MODELING THE INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF THE FIRM
Authors: S.A. BARKALOV, Dr. Sc., I.V. BURKOVA, Dr. Sc., P.N. KUROCHKA, Dr. Sc., E.A. SEREBRYAKOVA, Сand. Sc.
Abstract: The article considers issues related to the innovative development of the firm. It is emphasized that the period of existence of any innovation is determined by its life cycle, during which different actions are required from the enterprise: at the stage of initiation and development - investment of funds, at other stages of the successful implementation of innovation there is a return on investment and profit. There is a situation when most enterprises simultaneously implement several innovations. As a consequence, maximum investments can be required in several projects, and almost simultaneously, which can lead the enterprise to financial difficulties. To avoid this situation, it is necessary at the planning stage to determine as precisely as possible the timing of the beginning and end of the stages of implementation of innovation. On the example of the introduction of innovative enclosing structures in the construction of residential buildings of higher storey the problem of determining the time parameters on the stages of implementation of the process of implementing the developed innovation is considered.

Authors: D.I. PRIKHODKO, Master, A.V. MOKRYAKOV, Cand. Sc., V.V. GORSHKOV, Dr. Sc.
Abstract: Technical models of information systems are considered, for which it is possible to define not only a simple life cycle, but also a hybrid model, highlighting the cascade and version parts of the information system model. This allocation allows, in special cases, to implement more accurate maintenance and upgrade data for the information system, and for the serial series of operating systems, to correlate the evolution of the series and version. A model of the evolution of software and hardware is considered, which shows exactly how the process of hardware obsolescence is going on for the requirements of software. A model of the life cycle of information systems with the ability to dynamically select the bit depth of calculations designed to work in extreme environmental conditions (when exposed to ionizing radiation on the components of an information system) is investigated.

Authors: A.V. SHAKHOVSKOY, Cand. Sc., V.N. VLASOVA Cand. Sc., E.G. ROTANOV, Cand. Sc.
Abstract: The article shows that carrying out methodical evaluation of methods and methods of automation of production lines is possible by methods of diagnostics of equipment used for fixing of production indicators. The application of methods of reconfiguration of technological equipment is possible only when reconfiguring the software structure, which is achieved by establishing new parameters. It is determined that the possibilities of using equipment configurations are formed on the basis of previously indicated parameters. SCADA-system is used as a control object during equipment reconfiguration.

DEVELOPMENT OF CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR A SUSPENSION POLYMERIZATION BATCH REACTOR WITHIN THE MUTUAL INFLUENCE
OF CONTROL CHANNELS
Authors: A.F. EGOROV, Dr. Sc., A.G. LOPATIN, Cand. Sc., B.A. BRYKOV, Senior Lecturer
Abstract: The issue of control of batch chemical reactors is considered on the example of suspension polymerization processes. The relevance of the work is due to the nature of the suspension polymerization processes occurring in the reactor and not allowing to provide control based on classical single-loop control systems. It is shown that efficient control of the polymer synthesis reactor from the point of view of process technology is possible due to the presence of two stabilization loops in the control system: mixture temperature and stirrer rotation speed. Block diagrams of such control systems are given, the principle of their operation is described. Comparative analysis of the quality of systems was carried out by simulation. It is concluded that the above control systems are superior to single-circuit systems in all quality indicators, which confirms the feasibility of their development.

ON THE METHODOLOGICAL ERROR OF STEP-BY-STEP OPTIMIZATION OF THE AIRCRAFT MOTION CONTROL PROGRAM IN THE PAYLOAD ADJUSTMENT SECTION
Authors: G.V. KAZAKOV, Cand. Sc., P.V. KOROBOV, Cand. Sc., A.V. SIDOROV, Senior Researcher
Abstract: The solution of the problem of determining optimal control of the translational motion of the center of mass of the aircraft in the section of bringing payloads in the pulse flight scheme by two methods is considered: step-by-step optimization method (the optimization of the center of mass motion control program is determined based on the minimum fuel consumption of the propulsion system at each step of adjusting the payloads) and the optimization method as a whole (optimal control of the movement of the center of mass of the aircraft in the payload bringing section is determined based on the minimum amount of fuel consumption of the engine system at all one-step transitions from one falling path to another). It has been found that the control program of the aircraft in the bringing section, optimal at each bringing step, will not be optimal for the entire bringing section as a whole. Within the framework of the pulse flight scheme, the value of the methodological error of the step-by-step optimization method is calculated at the section of bringing payloads.

EVALUATION OF SOLUTIONS DURING PRE-PRODUCTION
Authors: G.B. BURDO, Dr. Sc., A.N. BOLOTOV, Dr. Sc.
Abstract: It is shown that the specifics of single and small-scale instrument-making and machine-building production presupposes the implementation of a significant number of contracts at the same time, which implies simplified, and not always adequate, technical preparation of production. The basic principles of organizational and technological design are revealed, the set-theoretic and time models of the production system are analyzed, which allows identifying criteria during technological preparation. The subjects and objects of the production system and time points for determining the specified criteria are established. It is shown that the set-theoretic model of the procedure for establishing criteria for technological preparation of production reflects the information structure of the production system, and the time structure ensures synchronization of the procedures performed in time.
